The 2018 Biennial Meeting of the Society for Cultural Anthropology
We invite feature-length (30 min. or longer) anthropological films produced on the theme of Displacements (made between 2013-2017) to be included in the virtual Displacements Film Festival that will accompany the 2018 meetings. To submit your film, please email the following information to: displacements@culanth.org:
* Title, Total Running Time (30 min. or more), & Language (w/ English Subtitles)
* Year, Country of Production & Names of Anthropologist Involved
* Director Name(s), Institutional Affiliation & Contact Information
* Brief Synopsis (300 Words Max) & List of Notable Screenings & Recognitions
* Online Preview Link (with Password)
* Please write “Film Festival Submission” in the email subject line
By submitting your film to Displacements Film Festival (and if selected) you agree to make your film available on Vimeo between April 19th – 21st 2018 (only accessible by conference participants using a secure password). All submissions must be received by 11:59 PM EST December 15th 2017.
